For years, I lived with a mix of emotional stress and mental health challenges, convincing myself I didn’t need help. I tried self-help programmes, read all the books, and told myself I could fix it alone. But the truth was — I couldn’t. Not fully. Not lastingly.
In 2014, I was diagnosed with PTSD. That diagnosis led to months of therapy and, eventually, a sense of fresh momentum. On 11th May, I made the decision to truly start again.
The next day — 12th May — I had a stroke.
Thankfully, with emergency treatment and rehabilitation, my physical recovery was fairly quick. But what followed was harder to navigate. Emotionally and mentally, I felt further back than I’d ever been.
It was during this time I was introduced to hypnotherapy — and that’s when everything began to shift.
After just one session, something changed. Not just how I thought — but how I felt. The anxiety, the emotional spirals, the deep inner fatigue — began to lift. Over the course of a few sessions, things that had held me back for years started to lose their grip.
I now use the same approach that helped me — to help others take their next step.
The people I work with often look like they’re coping on the outside. But inside, they feel stuck, exhausted, or disconnected from who they used to be. That’s where I come in.
